Petr Vaverka got into photographing very early in his childhood. His father helped him to find out the secret of photographs in their photo-chamber. In 1994 he started  diving with the CMAS and later on he continued with the IANTD. Petr has found inspiration during  his  dives on wrecks and in caves. He took his first shots with  the uw camera in 1998. It was with an analog camera at that time. His  work is now based on digital  technology and beyond recreational diving limits. He is certified as an IANTD technical cave and full trimix diver, he is also  president of  the  IWD diving association,  and a  member of the BSOUP. He is well disposed to cooperate with other dive groups. In beginning of  2005 he became a member of the Czech Speleological Society and Board of Advisors of the IANTD Central Europe . He is contributor of Academy of Sciences in the Czech republic and Maritime office in Gdynia  (Poland).


Petr is also writing the articles for diving magazines in Europe and USA. His incredible underwater photographs are decorating many websites and internet presentations over the world. He has been an important part of expeditions  “Rosalie Moller  2004”, "Zenta 2005", "Amoco Milford Haven 2005" and "Wilhelm Gustloff 2006". His technology is Nikon digital SLR with Nikkor lenses in SEALUX uw-case, flashes  SUBTRONIC and Nikon with LOLA uw-cases. Petr is also a big fan of good music especially of the JOE SATRIANI, unlimited admirer of the DREAM  THEATER  and of huge teacher Frank Zappa.
